Would you rather night
Silly questions, real answers, no wrong ones

Take turns reading would-you-rather questions. Everyone answers and explains why. No wrong answers, lots of laughing.
You’ll need
- A list of would-you-rather questions (make them up or write them together)
How to do it together
- 1
Write a few questions together first: Would you rather have a pet dragon or a pet unicorn?
- 2
Take turns reading one out loud.
- 3
Everyone answers and gives one reason.
- 4
Ask a follow-up: what would you do first if that happened?
- 5
Finish with a question your kids make up for the grown-ups.
Make it easier
For 4-year-olds, use simple choices with pictures: ice cream or cake, swim like a fish or fly like a bird.
Make it harder
Tweens love tough ones: Would you rather know the future or change the past? Let them argue it out.
Why it’s worth it
The answers tell you how your kids think, what they love and what they're worried about, all without asking directly.
