Family trivia night
Questions about your own family

Each person writes five questions about the family (favorite foods, funny memories, who said what) and you play in teams. Nobody knows these answers better than you do.
You’ll need
- Index cards or paper slips
- Pencils
- Something to ring or tap for answers (a bell, a pan, a cup)
How to do it together
- 1
Everyone writes five questions about the family, like "What did Dad eat for breakfast every day last summer?"
- 2
Split into two teams, mixing grown-ups and kids.
- 3
Take turns reading one question out loud. The first team to ring the bell gets to answer.
- 4
A right answer is one point. A funny wrong answer that makes everyone laugh is a bonus point.
- 5
Finish with one question for everyone: what's your favorite family memory from this year?
Make it easier
Help younger kids write their questions, or let them draw them ("What's this?" with a picture of the family pet).
Make it harder
Add a "Who said it?" round with real family quotes.
Why it’s worth it
The questions themselves become the memories. Kids love hearing that you remember the little things about them.
