Family fitness circuit
Five stations, one minute each

Set up five stations in the living room (jumping jacks, wall sit, crab walk, ball toss, dance) and rotate every minute. Everybody moves, everybody laughs.
You’ll need
- Paper and a marker for station signs
- A soft ball
- A timer and some music
How to do it together
- 1
Push the furniture aside and make five signs: jumping jacks, wall sit, crab walk, ball toss, dance.
- 2
Tape one sign at each station around the room.
- 3
Everyone starts at a different station. Do it for one minute, then rotate.
- 4
Let the kids run the timer and the music.
- 5
After one round, let each person invent a new station.
Make it easier
For 6-year-olds, make it 30 seconds per station.
Make it harder
Older kids can count reps and try to beat their score in round two.
Why it’s worth it
Kids love watching a parent crab walk. It's real exercise that feels like a party.
