Where is your nose?

A giggly body-parts game

10 min Ages 2-4 Indoors or outNothing to buy
Where is your nose?: a parent and child doing it together

Call out body parts and see how fast your child can touch them, speeding up as you go. End with a big hug for the last one.

You’ll need

How to do it together

  1. 1

    Sit facing each other.

  2. 2

Call out a body part: nose! Touch your own while your child touches theirs.

  3. 3

Go through easy ones first: nose, ears, toes, tummy.

  4. 4

Speed up, and add trickier ones: elbow, eyebrows, knees.

  5. 5

Finish with a silly last one: "Hug!"

Make it easier

Go slow and point to your own body parts as you say them.

Make it harder

Try "Simon says": only touch it when you say "Simon says".

Why it’s worth it

Toddlers learn words fastest with their bodies, and this one ends in a hug every time.
