Where did teddy go?
The toddler hide-and-seek that never gets old

Hide a stuffed animal under a blanket while your child watches, then act amazed when they find it. Repeat as many times as they ask, because they will.
You’ll need
- A stuffed animal
- A blanket or towel
How to do it together
- 1
Show your toddler their teddy.
- 2
Slowly hide it under a blanket while they watch.
- 3
Ask: where did teddy go?
- 4
Let them pull the blanket off, and act completely amazed.
- 5
Swap roles: they hide, you find.
Make it easier
Leave part of the teddy peeking out.
Make it harder
Hide it under one of two blankets and mix them up.
Why it’s worth it
It teaches toddlers that things still exist when they can't see them, and your big surprised face is their favorite show.
